Ryan Billinghurst
A Red Seal designated craftsman, Ryan first apprenticed through BCIT in millwork and construction then set sail to span the globe; working on mega-yachts that sailed the Caribbean and Europe.
Ryan’s expertise and commitment to exceptional quality building techniques adds an important layer of consistency to all projects. A valuable mentor to the the team, Ryan joined Two Degrees North in 2012.
Inspired by seashores, boating and water, Ryan married the love of his life, Marina, in Mexico. Originally from Toronto, Ryan and Marina are laying down roots in the north Junction Toronto neighbourhood closer to family with a new home for husky pup “Chino”.
When not building beautiful furniture, Ryan keeps busy carving spoons, bowls and making stylish veneer bracelets from his home workshop that includes a custom ping-pong table.
